Who We Are

Flint Farm has been part of Mansfield since 1868. The Flint Family operated a dairy farm for five generations. After selling the cows in 1986, the farm was converted in to a retail vegetable production as it is today.

Don and Beth Flint run Flint Farm, with the help of their sons, Dave & Matt, along with his mother, Marjorie. In the summer our fields grow a variety of vegetables including tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, summer squash, eggplant, onions, 4 different colored peppers, spinach, basil and other in season produce. As good as our vegetables are, we are known for our 25 acres of sweet corn, which is hand picked fresh daily.. In the fall, a harvesting of a variety of gourds, straw, corn stalks and pumpkins come from our 8-acres of patch. The fall also brings the delivering of seasoned firewood. After Thanksgiving, we sell Christmas Trees and wreaths at the stand. In the spring before produce, visit their greenhouse packed with annuals, perennials and vegetable transplants started through the winter months. In the spring the selling of bark mulch, chips, loam and stone service to help with your spring-clean up needs.

Flint Farm has become well known for its “sweet tooth” offering of ice cream from early spring to Halloween. A family fall activity is our 4-acre corn maze and hayrides. It is fun for all ages.

The farm is open through the summer 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily and ice cream hours are 11:00-9:30 p.m. daily.
